Oneplus Buds Review
The Oneplus bullets are quite famous when these were launched in India. The bullets were launched in neckband style. Now the Oneplus came back with the modest design this time. The newly launched Oneplus Buds are the mixture of Apples airpods & Google’s pixel buds. This is surely an Apple airpods alternative, it looks just like every other airpods alternative in the market.
This Oneplus buds came into a pretty plasticky oval case, thats bit wider than the case of Google pixel buds & thicker than the apple airpods. On the bottom there is a USB type-C port, on the back a pairing button, on the inside magnets hold the buds snugging the case. They came in black, white & in the new crazy teal color.
The Oneplus calls the buds design “half in-ear” design. According to Oneplus, this design ensures you a snug fit for long periods of usage. Means you can easily listen to your favorite music for long hours without any discomfort.
You can tap the panel to accept calls or double-tap to skip to the next track in your playlist queue. Since there are no other buttons, there’s also no physical volume control. That means you’re reliant on your smartphone to play, pause, skip back and control the volume.
When worn, the OnePlus Buds feel lightweight thanks to a design that points the exterior shaft downwards, outside the ear. That’s a good thing in a lot of ways. You can wear these in-ears for a good chunk of time without feeling any discomfort or getting that invasive pressured feel that often occurs when you use more tightly fitting ear tips.
The buds are equipped with a unique noise cancellation algorithm and three microphones to improve clarity, OnePlus Buds will fliter out background noise for clear voice recordings and easy-to-hear calls.
The good news is that the Buds can produce great sound. If you like bass, you’ll love the OnePlus Buds. While the bass is definitely prominent, the sound feels quite well balanced – and there’s enough detail that you get a good sense of everything going on.
The OnePlus Buds are powered by 13.4mm dynamic drivers, and also feature environmental noise cancelling technology for better sound on voice calls. There is also support for Dolby Atmos.
OnePlus states that the case can provide up to 10 hours of battery life with just 10 minutes of charging. Up to 30 hours of battery life is claimed per charge cycle, with a promised listening time of up to seven hours from the earphones and a little over three additional charges from the case.
When the batteries are drained, all you need to do is pop the buds back into the case for 10 minutes. The case also supports Warp Charge 10 minutes of charging via USB-C affords 10 hours of battery life, which is insanely good. It takes 80 minutes to complete a full charge cycle for the earbuds and case altogether.
The buds comes with very intresting features. Double tap on the buds can help you to jump to the next track/previous track, it also helps you to awake the google’s voice assistant & play/pause the music. When you press the buds for 3sec. it will help you to switch the devices & when you press it for 5sec. you can easily answer the incoming call.
The OnePlus Buds is made for music lovers as it is equipped with a unique noise cancellation algorithm which eliminates background noise for clear voice calls as well.
The Buds came with IP rating. This means you can take it easily to the light rains & to the gym also as these are splash proof.
You be able to control your music as the OnePlus Buds come with Fast Pair, allowing you to connect it with your smartphone or tablet with ease.
